Where is the fire in this land? In my own heart? We have lost the authenticity of Christianity. The power of God has been watered down by our programs, our traditions, outings, and our get together socials. This is not a time for us to stand idly by while millions face eternal damnation. The modern church doesn’t know the reality of Christ and the power of His Spirit. Why are we not empowered by the Holy Spirit, filled and moved to impact the world? Where are the apostles of this hour? The Johns? Peters? Philips? Pauls? Stephens?
We have to press into the Lord to encounter Him. We can’t let the fire burn low. This is not some old religion that has been carrying on for 2000 years. This is as real as it gets and if we miss it we’ve lost it all.
Let us be a people who shine bright as a burning sun!
ReplyDeleteThe fire is slowing arising in a lot of Christian's hearts who are tired of a complacent church. I believe its going to come not when we try to mimic the early church or third world nations who have the fire but when we get a hunger to have more of what we already have and never get content with having enough.
ReplyDeleteSummon your power God of Israel..Your chariots are tens of thousands. The enemy will be defeated and we will not be contented or complacent any longer. We are going to do battle in YOUR name, Abba Father. You are the same, yesterday,today and tomorrow. We will trust in you; we will rise as a great nation and call to you to bring a GREAT REVIVAL in our land. For your Word says, when we call on Your name, You will answer and reveal Yourself to your people.
